- Certified Type-1 Recirculating Hood designed specifically for use on counter-top spaces … approved for a variety of counter-top cooking appliances.
- Ventless hood technology eliminates the need for venting outside, avoiding costly ductwork and roof/wall penetrations, allowing use in many nontraditional locations.
- Constructed of stainless steel and featuring Giles’ proven electrostatic air filtration process that exceeds emission requirements of NFPA-96 and ANSI/UL710B, using the EPA-202 test method.
- Optional interlocked appliance power receptacle can minimize on-site electrical installation work.
- The GVH Hood requires an ANSUL® R102A fire suppression system. The unit includes factory-installed piping, discharge nozzles, fusible link brackets, conduit, wire cable, and is ready for connection to a fire protection system.
- Stainless steel Double Baffle Filter removes large grease particulate and drains condensate to collection cup.
- Electrostatic Air Cleaner (EAC) electrically charges grease and smoke particulate in the air stream, allowing it to to be collected on plates within the cell.
- Disposable activated Charcoal Filter helps to eliminate cooking aromas from recirculated air.
- Optional UV Lamp (not seen) sanitizes the discharge air and the hood plenum area to further aid in controlling odor.
